Answer:
One cannot have too many microphones! They are the bridge between the performance of music and our ears. They change with time – so the sound of individual microphones changes over time into its own unique character. Consider each microphone a color – you need EVERY color on the palette with which to paint your picture. Microphones are the key to life – MICROPHONES ARE LIFE! (Thank you Ted Lasso’s Dani Rojas) A lot of microphones appreciate over time so it could possibly even be a good investment (unless, like me, you do not want to ever sell a microphone!).
