Major League Baseball Selects Heil Pro Microphones
Major League Baseball has chosen the Heil Sound PR 30 microphone for their uplink studios in New York City. The studios, located on Ninth Avenue, in downtown Manhattan, are used to broadcast major league baseball games to their MLB.com subscribers. In a press release sent to all major media outlets, Senior Vice President for Multimedia and Distribution, Joseph Inzerillo stated, "The Heil microphones were chosen for their excellent performance and high quality construction."
The PR 30 is a large diaphragm dynamic mic that has proven to be extremely popular with broadcast studios. The Heil PR Series are being used by a diverse group of users including Tom Joyner, Leo Laporte, CMT (Country Music Television) and Clear Channel, among others.
