Handi Mic

Handi Mic

The Basics

For years, Bob Heil has been working on a solution to an all-too-common problem in today's mobile rigs: muffled, hollow-sounding audio. With the introduction of the Handi Mic, the solution is at hand!

Even the best microphone element, when mounted in a typical clamshell enclosure, will make your voice sound like you're talking from the bottom of a barrel. The Handi Mic, by contrast, has its element mounted in an open enclosure, seated on a rugged Sorbothane © shock mount, and the resulting audio is the clearest, cleanest, most articulate audio you'll ever experience. The low handling noise and exceptional cardioid pattern make the Handi Mic ideal for mobile or portable use.

The Handi Mic iC contains the iC high performance electret for ICOM use and terminates into the traditional Heil 4 pin XLR broadcast connector allowing the Heil CC-1 connecting cables to be used. The HM iC with the HTA PC Traveler adapter is sensational on Personal Computers.

The Handi Mic PRO contains the wide range broadcast element for VHF FM rigs and terminates into the traditional Heil 4 pin XLR broadcast connector with the PTT allowing the Heil CC-1 connecting cables to be used.
