Heil Headsets on Field Day 2007

The weekend of June 23-24, 2007 saw thousands of clubs and other Ham groups take to the hills, parks, and beaches of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and throughout the Western Hemisphere in the annual test of emergency preparedness.
Setting up in tents, trailers, motor homes, or in emergency operations centers, amateur radio operators participated in the single biggest operating event of the year: Field Day. Using portable equipment, field-ready antennas, and emergency power, these Hams tested their ability to operate under less-than-ideal conditions, demonstrating and testing their capability to serve the general public in times of disaster.
Wherever a Field Day operation was under way, Heil headsets and microphones were sure to be playing a big part in getting information exchanged between participating stations!
